Why is the world so broken?

A biblical worldview best explains what’s wrong with the world. But even more importantly, it offers a solution. The world is not always as it was, or as it will be one day.

God created the Universe and everything in it. He declared all of it good, and He announced that mankind is very good. Adam and Eve enjoyed fellowship with God and lived in the world. But they rebelled against God and the consequences of sin came.

In the midst of it all, God revealed His plan to make things right. Our Savior–the Redeemer, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and died a horrible death as He took upon Himself the sins of all mankind. The object of God’s love, Jesus, satisfied His justice. And, by rising three days later, Jesus conquered sin and death for all people.

One day our Savior, the Lamb of God, will return, to raise the dead, judge all people, and make all things new. The world will no longer be broken. And we’re invited to join Him through a relationship with His Son Jesus.
