The Lord Saves

“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21).

God’s names would be merely an academic exercise if we failed to connect the names to the Person of Jesus Christ. The Angel told Joseph in a dream to call his son JESUS for a reason. When Joseph and Mary dedicated their son at the temple, the old Priest, Simeon, immediately connected salvation with the person of Jesus and praised God he had lived to see His Savior (See Luke 2:30). If you have not yet given your life to Him, call on JESUS: The Lord Saves. He very much wants to draw close to you. Ask Him to forgive your sins, be your Lord, and grant you the salvation that can be found in no other name but His.
