Sharing the Gospel is both Important and God’s Command

It is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ and of every church of the Lord Jesus Christ to share the Gospel. When believers are born again through the work of God’s Holy Spirit, this gives rise to the birth of love for others. Because the Lord Jesus Christ has commanded the preaching of the Gospel to all nations, it is the duty of every child of God to seek constantly to win the lost to Christ. This effort should include verbally witnessing about Jesus, living a life that is set apart in obedience to Christ and consistent with the love of Christ, and employing other methods in harmony with the Gospel of Christ—the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9:22, “that I might by all means save some.”
