Let's Talk: What Does The Bible Say?

God the Father

God as Father reigns with providential care over everything in His created Universe. He is sovereign over humanity—past, present, and future—for the purpose of His grace (unmerited gift of divine favor in saving sinners and bringing them back into right relationship with Himself). He is all powerful, all knowing, all loving, and all wise. God is truly the Father of those who become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ. He is fatherly in His attitude toward all people.
