Keeping Sex Unadulterated

"

God gave sex to husbands and wives not only for procreation, but also for fellowship, communion, joy, comfort, and mutual love. When the Bible records a husband and wife coming together sexually, it uses the word “knew” instead of sex.

What does that mean? It means that sex is a form of communication that cannot be put into words. It is a way of saying, “I love you” that you cannot say any other way. When God says in His holy Ten Commandments, “Thou shalt not commit adultery” (Exodus 20:14), and in the epistles, “Flee fornication” (1 Corinthians 6:18), God is not trying to keep sex from you. He is keeping sex for you.

You see, sex is a wonderful, beautiful gift of God. So when God says, “Thou shalt not commit adultery,” it is because the marriage bed is so wonderful that God does not want you to adulterate it.

FOR YOUR GIFT TO THE MINISTRY

What is the mission of the Church?

Love Worth Finding's newest book, "A Final Charge to the Church, "is based on the final series of messages Pastor Rogers preached before retiring in 2005. Pastor Rogers wanted to prepare his congregation for the future. In doing so, he provided a biblically sound blueprint that applies to all Christians on topics including unity among believers, standing strong in opposition to the enemy (Satan), the power of the Holy Spirit to change lives, steadfastness in prayer, true worship, faithfulness to God's Word, caring for others, and the kingdom authority given to believers in Jesus Christ. The book is a great read for all believers who want to become better prepared, as the bride of Christ, to be radiant, pure, and faithful to Jesus, the living Word of God.
