Ponder This
To a true believer, the Bible is precious. You cannot love God without loving His Word. If given the choice between all the treasures in this world and the Bible, I wouldn’t have to think for a moment. I would choose the Word of God. I would not have to think about it! Greater than gold is the Word of God! It is precious indeed.
A lady visited Yosemite. She said to the guide, “I only have an hour. What should I do if I only have an hour to see Yosemite?” He said, “If you want to see Yosemite and you only have an hour, I suggest you go sit down over there by the river and cry.” The lady would be unable to truly appreciate the depth and beauty of Yosemite in such a short time. As beautiful and wonderful as that park is, the Bible is better. Yet, many of us don’t take the time to explore it. The Bible is a treasure. We ought to love it.

Look up photos of some of the most beautiful places in creation. Reflect on the fact that the God who created these places has revealed Himself through His Word and has made this available to you.
