  1. INTRODUCTION
    1. There is no one good.

    2. Everything good that comes to us is by the grace of God, in spite of our sins.
  2. WE ARE GRACED WITH GOD’S PURPOSE
    1. God’s purpose is to make us like Jesus.

    2. God’s purpose will be fulfilled.

  3. WE ARE GUIDED BY GOD’S PROVIDENCE
    1. Providence is to see ahead and make provision.
      1. Romans 8:28
    2. God moves everything towards His goal.
    3. We do not live by appearances, we live by promises.
    4. Man has a will and the freedom to exercise that will; and when man does evil, God makes provision and takes care of His children.
    5. God will engineer, by His providence, circumstances that may look evil to us, but they are not evil; they are actually part of His wonderful plan.

  4. WE ARE GUARDED BY HIS POWER
    1. Whoever comes against you is coming against the One who stands for you.

    2. Satan wants you to question and doubt God.
      1. Five questions Satan cannot answer:
        1. "What shall we say to these things, if God be for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31
          1. No intimidation
            1. Isaiah 41:13
        2. "He that spared not His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?" Romans 8:32
          1. No deprivation
        3. "Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect?" Romans 8:33
          1. No incrimination
          2. Satan will try to accuse us, but he is not qualified.
          3. God will never bring us into double jeopardy.

        4. "Who is he that condemneth?" Romans 8:34
          1. No condemnation

          2. The only one qualified to condemn us is the One who died for us.

        5. "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword?" Romans 8:35
          1. No separation
  5. WE ARE GLADDENED BY GOD'S PRESENCE
    1. Nothing can separate us from the love and presence of God.
