- Old Testament: God had a temple for His people.
- New Testament: God has His people for a temple.
- God will clean house, do a cleansing work on you, if you’re truly His.
- You are God’s House: He lives in you.
- THE PROFANING OF THE TEMPLE (Matthew 21:12)
- Money-changers had made it a den of thieves.
- Your one purpose is to glorify God in both spirit and body.
- 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
- Your body is the means through which you express what is in your spirit.
- You are to glorify God by what you express through your body.
- Your life is to be a life of perpetual glory to God.
- THE PURGING OF THE TEMPLE (Matthew 21:12)
- Jesus will not live in a dirty house. He will clean house.

- He will purge by means of chastisement.

- He chastises only those who belong to Him.
- Every believer will experience this.
- Purpose: He wants you to be holy.

- CONCLUSION
- Do you know Jesus personally? If not, you can pray to Him today by asking Him to come into your life.
- Call upon Jesus today. Repent (turn) from your sins, and turn to Jesus. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins, and acknowledge Him as Lord of your life.
