Jesus died so that we who would believe in Him might live. His death paid the penalty for sin that we could not pay, making it possible to be reunited in relationship and fellowship with God the Father. Only a perfect sacrifice could have been sufficient for the sin debt we owed to the Father. Jesus was that perfect sacrifice, and His resurrection made eternal life possible for each of us.

In the same way that the head directs the rest of the body in how to move, Christ also instructs His body, the Church. Ephesians 5:23 says, “For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.”
READ MORE“Blessed are the peacemakers” is a term that comes from Jesus’ sermon on the mount found in Matthew 5:9. The Bible tells us to seek, make, and live in peace. Being a peacemaker mimics the life of Jesus because it was through Him that we can have peace with God the Father. (See Romans 5:1.)

You can find this armor listed in Ephesians 6:10-18. By utilizing the armor of God, we can withstand the attacks of the enemy with confidence and peace, in faith and strength, all of which come from the Lord and His Spirit within us.

Both must fall under the context of being fully surrendered to the Holy Spirit. On our own, we are powerless to fight, but through the power and leadership of the Holy Spirit, we can live in victory.
