Living by grace means living in the reality of God's love and power. It’s not just for salvation—it’s for daily Christian growth.
Here are 4 practical steps:
- Accept God’s grace every day—reject shame and live as a child of God (Romans 8:1). When we embrace God’s forgiveness daily, we remember that our identity rests in Christ, not in our failures.
- Confess quickly and honestly, letting grace cleanse and renew you (1 John 1:9). Honest confession opens the door for God’s mercy to wash away guilt and restore our joy.
- Show grace to others, especially when they don’t deserve it (Colossians 3:13). Extending patience and forgiveness reflects the same love God has poured out on us.
- Stay in the Word, where grace teaches us to live godly lives (Titus 2:11–12). Scripture reminds us of God’s kindness and trains us to walk in holiness with humility.
Grace is both a gift and a guide. As Pastor Rogers said, “The grace that saved you is the same grace that strengthens you.”
