How can Christian values be reintroduced into American society?

Real change in society doesn’t happen because of politics or policies. It happens because the people of God pursue and promote holy living (Leviticus 19:2, Matthew 5:48). Restructuring the desires of those around us will not come by force but by faithfulness. Jesus told us to be salt and light, to be effective for Him for His glory (Matthew 5:13-16). If the people of God will come together and do good to each other, as well as to those around us, real change can take place (Romans 12:5, Galatians 6:10). When the world sees us act in unison, it is attractive. As we get involved in societal issues while maintaining our oneness and being faithful Christians, we can then have a respected voice to create change. Hard work and integrity from a Christlike and biblical perspective can be influential to our children, our coworkers, and the leaders in our communities. By living out our faith in this way, we are not only engaging American society now, but we also are equipping the next generation to follow in our footsteps. Speaking, serving, and engaging the world around us sounds like a huge undertaking, and it is. But remember, as with true revival, it starts in the heart, moves through the home, into the local community, and eventually into society as a whole. “He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8)
