A Virtual Women’s Ministry through LWF

This month Love Worth Finding launches a new partner ministry, Women Living Courageously. The mission: point women to Jesus.

“Weekly, daily, hourly, and minute-by-minute, we need Jesus,” says Melanie Redd, who directs the new effort. “Our prayer is for women of all ages to focus on our amazing God.”

The ministry seeks to reach women in all stages of life with encouragement, inspiration, and a call to walk more closely with the Lord. “If we get this one thing right,” Melanie says, “everything else will fall into place.” Rightly related to Jesus, she adds, we will live out our key verse, “She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future” (Proverbs 31:25, NLT).

Women Living Courageously will feature a weekly blog, podcast, and email, along with social media posts. In addition to encouraging women to grow closer to Jesus, the ministry will also seek to help women grow personal relationships with other women—online and in person.

Two New Ways to Support LWF's Gospel Reach

Love Worth Finding is deeply grateful for the partnership of our monthly donors as well as those who establish planned giving strategies to support the ministry. These partners work arm and arm with us over time as we seek to reach people for Jesus and mature them in the faith. While these partnerships have long been part of our ministry, we recently formalized them with two new programs.

AMBASSADORS OF THE WORD is our program for monthly supporters. Ambassadors play an active and faithful role in sharing God’s Truth with a world in desparate need; their monthly commitment enables us to plan more effectively for ministry opportunities God is leading us toward. Go directly to the Ambassadors page on our website by clicking here. You can also become an Ambassador using the monthly donation option on the enclosed reply slip. We take stewardship seriously. Even $10 a month can make a big difference. Join us. Reach the lost. Make disciples.

LEGACY PARTNERS is our program for those who establish planned giving mechanisms to reach others for Christ even beyond their own lifetimes. LWF has partnered with Barnabas Foundation, experts
in planned giving, to provide those in the LWF community with complimentary assistance regarding:

  • An up-to-date will

  • Planned giving strategies, such as:

    • Charitable gift annuities and remainder trusts

    • Life income gifts

    • Giving through IRAs

    • Gifts of appreciated stock, real estate, or other non-cash assets

  • Guardianship of minor children

If you would like to discuss how you might continue to share the Gospel in partnership with Love Worth Finding through planned giving, contact Bob Dawkins, CTFA, or Sam Cox at [email protected] or (800) 274-5683.

The Legacy of Love

As we consider the legacy we want to leave our children and grandchildren, and the legacy we can leave by bringing others to Christ, this is a great time to listen to Pastor Adrian Rogers’ message, “The Legacy of Love.”

Pastor Rogers speaks from 1 John 3 to explain the benefits of a legacy of love:

  • As we operate with love in our hearts, we have a clear conscience.
  • When we love not just in word but in deed and in truth, our hearts do not condemn us, and we have confidence that our prayers will be answered.
  • Love enables a gracious communion with God and with others.

If we do not have love in our hearts, instead harboring bitterness, wrath, and malice, the Holy Spirit cannot commune with us. But when we have a good conscience and great confidence, the Holy Spirit gently confirms that we belong to Jesus.
