Men and Women's Deepest Needs

There’s a difference between lovers and achievers. Women are lovers, men are achievers. The Bible says in Ephesians 5:33, “Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.”
Now, what does God tell the man to do? He tells the man to love his wife. What does God tell the wife to do? He tells her to reverence or respect her husband. Why?
In polls from time to time, women have been asked, “What is your deepest need?” Do you know what it is? Romance. Women want to be loved, cherished, and prized. They want to be held, adored, and put on a pedestal. They want to be #1 in your parade. They want to be loved.
Now what is man’s greatest need? He wants to be admired. He wants to be respected. She is a lover. He is an achiever. Celebrate the difference!
