Making Good Time on the Wrong Road
July 21 | Taken from this message by Adrian Rogers
One day, I had a meeting in South Florida. When I arrived, I rented a car and I was surprised to get a really nice one. I turned on the radio and found the most gorgeous music. I began driving down the road and discovered very little traffic. The sun was shining, the road was good, the car was beautiful, and the music was glorious. I was so happy.
After I had driven about two hours, I began thinking that I should have arrived at my destination. All of a sudden it dawned on me – I was driving the wrong way! I was making good time on the wrong road.
That is what religion is without the Lord. The worst form of badness is human goodness if human goodness keeps you from salvation.
