Available to God

One of the greatest secrets I ever learned was that God didn't want me to do anything for Him. He wanted to do something through me. Philippians 2:13 says, " For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure."
Whenever I hear people say, "I just serve God in my poor, little, old weak way," I feel like saying, "Well, quit it!" God doesn't want you to serve Him in your poor, little, old weak way. He wants you to die to yourself and let Him live through you in His mighty, glorious, dynamic way.
Then, we can say, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me" (Galatians 2:20).
