Redeemed by His Blood

I read that Abraham Lincoln, who hated slavery, was in the slave market one day. He saw a beautiful, young slave girl being auctioned off to lecherous men bidding on her to make her their dirty plaything. Abraham Lincoln began to bid for this girl.
One man bid and he’d offer a counter-bid. Finally, she was sold to Abraham Lincoln. She lifted those beautiful sad eyes to him, not knowing who he was. He took the certificate of sale and handed it to her and said, “You're free."
She said, “What do you mean free?" He said, “You are free." She said, “Free to do what I want to do?" He said, “Yes." She said, “Free to say what I want to say?" He said, “Yes." She said, “Free to go where I want to go?" He said, “Yes." She said, “Then I am going with you.”
That’s the way I am with Jesus. He redeemed me and made me free. His precious blood has redeemed me. Romans 5:18 says, "Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life."
